The Fellowship
Throughout the year, the Mira Fellowship admits innovators and visionaries who are ready to commit to digging in and building their life’s work.
Once admitted, Fellows collaborate with our team to create a bespoke plan of support for their project. We help frame, research, test, and formulate a vision into a clear story and an actionable plan.
We engage with Fellows at every stage of their journey. Some are working to secure funding. Some are refining a prototype. Some are strengthening a go-to-market strategy or building a volunteer base. Whatever a project requires, if they’re in, we’re in. Together, we design the best way to get there.
Building the future requires connection, collaboration, and collective wisdom. Our strong community helps make the impossible possible. All our Fellows generously exchange time and energy to accelerate one another's ideas.

A Toolbox for Change
We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve seen some of the potholes and dead ends along the road. To help our Fellows, we’ve developed a simple set of tools that can help along the way. Reframing, Prototyping, Community Building, and Storytelling. Every project needs them. New Fellows will be introduced to the basic toolbox and encouraged to use whatever works for them.
A Generous Community
We seek Fellows who are committed to building meaningful, lasting solutions. While funding and visibility play a role, what Mira focuses on first and foremost is the steady work of refining a vision and turning it into reality.
Think of the community as a cofounder you don’t have to compensate. We’re here for you both operationally and personally. It takes your whole life to change the world. Join a community that understands what you’re going through and wants to help.
Coaching
Whatever your roadblocks, one of our coaches has likely been through it before. We pull from a large base of seasoned for-profit and non-profit entrepreneurs to find the best match for your situation. Many of our alumni return to help coach our new Fellows.
Summits
Building the future can be a lonely pursuit. Each year we organize in-person summits for our Fellows. Sometimes we focus on an area of need, like fundraising, storytelling, or growth strategy. And sometimes we just have a little fun together. You can’t live your whole life on Zoom :)
Fundraising
Without generous support, projects never get off the ground.
During the Fellowship we offer micro-grants to help get projects in tiptop shape before showing them off to our network of motivated donors and investors looking for committed visionaries. When projects are ready, we do everything in our power to connect our Fellows with the right supporters to take them to the next level.
Cohort Sprint
Each year, we convene a cohort of Fellows who are ready to sprint on their projects and take them to the next level. The Cohort Sprint is an intensive journey: a crucible where ideas are stress-tested, partnerships are forged, and the impossible becomes inevitable. Together, Fellows build not just their project, but the relationships that will sustain them for years to come.

Every accepted Fellow will have access to 1:1 coaching, a supportive community, micro-grants, and an extensive network. There will also be a 2027 Cohort - if you’re interested in this experience, be sure to apply by June 1!
Our selection process is thorough, rigorous, and highly selective. We're looking for exceptional individuals tackling systems-level change, and we take the time to find the right fit for both you and our community.

What Happens Next
Our selection process is designed to identify truly exceptional work and ensure mutual fit. We review each application carefully and reach out within 2-3 weeks to begin a conversation about your work and how you might engage with the community. This is a collaborative process—we want to understand your vision deeply and explore how we can best support your systems-changing work.
