CAMP F.L.O.

Camp F.L.O.

Why we support it

Camp F.L.O. is building a future where young men, especially young men of color, grow up connected, confident, and emotionally strong. It’s creating a pathway for them to understand themselves, build meaningful relationships, and develop the social and emotional skills they need to lead lives of purpose and peace.

At Camp F.L.O., boys learn that strength is not about dominance, but about awareness. They learn to listen, to express emotion, to build trust—and to find belonging in community rather than in conflict. Through mentorship, nature, and shared experience, Camp F.L.O. gives young men the tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and integrity.

By helping boys build these foundations early, Camp F.L.O. is breaking cycles of violence and isolation, creating a generation of young men who can lead with empathy, courage, and connection.

Root Cause of the Problem:

Many boys, particularly boys of color, grow up without environments that support emotional expression and healthy relationship-building. Cultural norms and institutional systems often discourage vulnerability, leaving young men without tools to process emotion or build trust. This absence contributes to disconnection and harmful coping behaviors.
